Times like these I feel so out of touch with society. I cannot even comprehend the fact that disasters strike and strike hard! I am from Southern Ontario and we had a minor tornado this past June, but nothing that compares to what Haiti and other countries have experienced and now what Japan will have to experience again. Devastation. Homes being torn from the ground and demolished. 70 000 people fleeing to shelters. Not knowing where your loved ones are, if they're dead or alive. Hundreds killed and still bodies missing. Why aren't I more thankful for the country I live in and that I haven't experienced devastation like this?

All I can do is pray! I'm almost to tears looking at these pictures, knowing that many people have lost their loved ones today.
Psalm 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.(NIV)
Matthew 11:28-30
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For me yoke is easy and my burden is light.(NIV)
Who I am to wake up to 4 inches of snow and complain! God has showed me a lot today.
