I see Your face in every sunrise

Guess what?


Today is a new day. 


You don't always understand why things happen the way they do.  But as I look back on my life thus far and see how far I've come...I am certain of the fact that God has a plan.  


Life isn't a competition. It isn't about who's the prettiest, skinniest, who has the best hair, skin and clothes or who has the most schooling or the prettiest things. I believe it's about what you did when the plans you had for yourself changed in an instant, it's about who you are when no one's looking, it's about how sincere of a wife, friend, sister and daughter you are.  It's about who you are on the inside.  


I'd rather be with people who make me feel good about who God created me to be.  The people who would drop what they're doing in an instant if I needed them.  The people who understand who you are, and love you even when you're at your ugliest.  The people who have grace and forgiveness.  


I am blessed with the most amazing husband, friends and family a girl could ask for.  


It makes me smile knowing what God can do, pondering on the state I was in last week, hopeless, confused and depressed, now I see hope and a light.
